I have been trying to make some company templates with links to allow a single template to read addresses and phone numbers from a simple document. The problem is that when I try to open the template as a new document and then close it, it prompts me to save changes to document1, which is normal, but then it asks me to save changes to the template also, even when there have been no changes. Furthermore, once the template has been saved to a computer it does not prompt me again to save changes to the template. The templates are saved on a Win NT server and the clients are Win 95. Is there anyway I can get these templates to stop prompting the end user to save changes to the template? Thank you for any support and help you can offer.
It is impossible to make programs idiot proof. Idiots are too cleaver.
