Sorry it took me so long to get back to you...for some reason I was unable to get into the Universal Thread!
The Framework control is simply a wrapper for the Microsoft TreeView control so whatever capabilities Microsoft has built into the TreeView control are available to you. You may want to try setting the TreeView's Enabled property to .F. in the PostBuildTreeViewHook method of your CTreeViewCtrl instance. You can reference the actual TreeView control from the container by referencing "This.TreeView".
