That's what the original intent was... well, it's there also in the final version. The trouble came up when I got the error on Thursday a 5:55pm, and on Friday I had several other things to do or attend to... and this mind flop has culminated in me locking my keys in the car (for the first time in three years). Actually, lockable keys are an American speciality - in Europe I have seen just a few cars where you could lock the keys inside. The keys are used to lock the car as well, not just to unlock. Anyway, I ended up walking four miles thru slight rain, and... yes, the code works as it was intended :)
