As what I read from some threads, we could place our database and EXE in a single SERVER and every workstation will create a shortcut link to the located of EXE stored in SERVER. Therefore, we just need to update a single piece of EXE from server instead of all of the worstations.
If I would like to use this way in distribution, how could I store the information I mentioned such as database path, company name and etc in registry? I found that the information will be saved in the registry where we execute the EXE (may be workstation). If so, any changes will cause EXE work wrong.

Any ideas?
