>Crescent Software has an ActiveX package called "Internet ToolPak". It has FTP, HTTP, Internet Mail, Telenet, etc. I've been able to get the FTP control to work, but haven't played with the others. As for their support, it's the usual, "We only support VB" nonsense. In order to get a response from them, I had to translate the problem into VB, and when I got the same result, then they were helpful.

The fact that they don't want to support VFP is not really a nonsense. The ActiveX is not quite well implemented in VFP (kinda buggy :)) and they don't want to deal with this unless they have enough users.
