www.LesPinter.comHi Les, it's a pleasure to receive a response from you.
I have your article and we have a nice implementation of the same idea but using a table and looking for records in that table, works very well for us.
But I was telling Victor about some wonderful DLLs by Remus Rusano I discovered here in the UT, file 1367, "Multi-threaded VFP application".
They worked great and allow you to run VFP MTDLLs right from VFP, as you know, VFP MTDLLs can be used from any multi-threaded application but not from VFP (I mean you can, but as VFP is not multi-treaded, the inherent advantage of using them vaporizes).
Guess what, now we can do it, right from the command window if we want!! They give VFP multi-thead capacity.
I have been excited with this for a week, I even posted 2 threads here telling everybody but nodody seems to care.
Agustin.
...Y soy feliz, bien feliz, asi lo grito;
Mira, que el mundo sepa, que se sepa:
Soy feliz....
...And I'm happy, quite happy, so do I yell it;
Look, so the world knows it, so be known:
I'm happy...
