; Shipboard business center! Satellite technology. Checking email from the kids. Spent 18 bucks and they never checked their email < growl >. This actaully was interesting since I've been thinkning about getting a sat connection - no DSL or cable modems in the area. Response was decent but could have been better.

: Got off the boat wearing Jamiacan shirt, shorts and straw hat. 85 degrees and beautiful. Wore it all the way to St. Louis airport. Now back home in Illinois and it's 10 degrees...arrrrrrrgh!!!!

Just gotta add my $.02, since I'm leaving in 2 days for a 9 day sailboat charter in Palau: no phone, no laptop, no motorcars, no shoes, very little clothes, lots of crystal clear blue water, fresh fish dinners, beautiful day and nighttime sky, great diving/snorkelling (just had to crow about it....). J
