To be honest, if you are using VFP then a grid makes things simpler - you can just drag and drop it onto a form & set the size of it, you can use the rightclick wizard to set up it's data sources. Then each time you run the form it just works!

But also because grids are OO you can enhance them to do much more than browses could ever do (eg Highlight bar, You can drag and drop a Combo Box or Checkbox etc.)
