Most people don't remove constraints as a part of normal operations. Constraints are considered part of the schema. It would be like adding and removing columns on a daily basis.

Now it is common for people to disable constraints - especially during bulk loads of data. Check out the ALTER TABLE command if this is what you're really looking to do.
