Thanks. I tried RELEASE THIS and got an error "The current object has been released." Evidently, the form object is being released, but the variable referencing the object is not. When I DO FORM PUBTEST, the name of the variable referencing the form is PUBTEST. If I put RELEASE PUBTEST in the Destroy event, then the variable is released. I'm not sure if there is a way to get this variable name at the class level, especially if multiple instances of a form are involved. It's really not a big deal to me, but I would expect VFP to handle this automatically.
