We have had similar issues on client's machines. We found the best solution was to have the client install MDAC (you can get it from the Microsoft site 6mb). Be careful though, the latest version of MDAC installs JET 4.0 so we had to watch the ADO connection strings. We check the registery of the client's machine to verify that the JET drivers are installed and what version they are running.
