Here is a weird one:

An old foxpro DOS application (SBT 6.50) completely hangs when
you switch printer to local but will work when switching from network
printer to another networked printer.

The apps runs in a DOS session on win95&98 under a NT 4.0 network.
Users uses batch files to run NET USE commands to switch printers and
redirect the LPT1 DOS port.

Only difference between switching from network printers and to local printer
is that the batch files for network printers do a NET USE NewPrinter while
the batch file for local printer does a NET USE DELETE thus removing the
network redirection.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated
