I composed a long message in the ASP-Classic section. It involved a < pre > section with ASP code to answer a question.

I forgot to trick the parser by separating the angle brackets. When I pressed Preview I got the error that says that tables and other HTML code is not allowed. Fine.

But when I pressed the browser's BACK button to re-edit the message, it was gone! All I went back to is the original edit box you get when you hit Reply (i.e. the one containing the original message you are replying to but none of my long code was preserved. That's a real PITA. Could anything be done about it?

An ER could be that the parser is turned off within < pre > tags.
