I use Catalyst Visual Tools. It cost some $ but work better the Mabry products.
I check, and Yes the Catalyst FTP OCX has the method RenameFile.

If you use a ActiveX for FTP make sure you set the "_VFP.AutoYield = .F." property to trap ActiveX errors. Look it up.
