Then browse and find the pageframe control - BROWSE NORM FOR LOWER(baseclass) = 'pageframe') and then open the properties field (it's a memo field). You should be able to make any changes with the Edit Memo window. Hope this helps.

Neil,

Thanks. I will try this. In the meantime, I went ahead and just renamed my captions and name properties for the pages, and moved the controls. A couple of other notes:
1) I have done this successfully at other times, no problem. So something is
different about this case. (The one that doesn't work is subclassed from the
vfp _pageframe class, I think, but I'm not sure, that the other times I've done this, the page was created from the original pageframe base class- so I
need to work through whether this is relevant)

2) Since I posted the original message I did a thread search on "Page order"
and found several similar references - where people describe the exact problem,
and others have responded that it is a 'known problem'. However, in the posts I saw, the posters indicated that the problems were with 'forms as classes', and that when they did it with a regular form, they had no problem.

So, I will continue to experiment with it !

Thanks for your reply
