Thanks Robert,

Althought the heart of the program is now built in VFP, the UI of is still written in VB. So, I need to know how to do this in a more general fashion by using the Windows API.

Any suggestions?

There must be a simple way to do this using an existing function in a WIN dll, but I couldn't find any. Is there a function that does this?
