Base de données, Tables, Vues, Index et syntaxe SQL
I never thought about the unicode issue with SQL before. My last application was a web system (VB Webclasses) with SQL 7 and a conversion of data from Access to SQL. By default the tables converted to N type fields and I didn't bother to change them. I don't think we needed them but I figured, hey, why not? Maybe I'll be a little more carefull if there are problems with remote views.
I am going to test some things out because if there are problems that are not easily solved, I don't want to find out at the wrong time.
So thanks for the insight!
>Hi Bob, I changed the datatype from ntext to text and all is well. Thanks to you both!
