A good point and by the way where is the SQA? What? No testing? I once worked for a company that would not allow you to test your code and had no SQA department. Guess what? The owner said: "Let the customers give us feed back"! How about 500 calls in one day to the customer Hot Line with a new release? I felt sorry for the two guys on the hot line. We had three programmers. By the way, the company went out of business.

Another story about pleasing everyone: I worked for a large corporation and the plant manager decided to have a music system installed so everyone could listen to music throughout the day. After the system was installed complaints were being made to the HR Department about the "type of music" being played. The plant manager made a decision and once each hour the type of music was changed. They too went out of business.

Thats O.K., as Republicans were in the White House both times. Try to please the world and you please no one.
