I am using Mere Mortals and have a parent form made from cbizobjnolistmaintform with 5 pages on it. Pages 1 and 2 are the parent bizobj ('Account') and the last 3 pages have child bizobj's using a cListObjEdit class and an associated cListObjEditForm. I've dropped a class containing a group of 8 controls (called 'Code Settings') on the parent and each child form. Each form operates correctly. I need to default the child ('Code Settings') controls to the parent settings when any new child record is created. My problem is how to get default values populated into the child without it being ugly. I thought setting up an object reference to the parent form's ('Code Settings') object in the parent and have the children access it was a good approach, but haven't been able to accomplish it. Should I modify my subclasses as needed or is there another way. Can anyone offer a "how to" or other solution?
