Hi, I traced and the alias is never changing. What is happening is that when the environment is loading the set('database') is being executed several times and the application database is being loaded and unloaded. The error happens when the form is being called from it's menu bar. This is a form with no data, it lets the user enter a few variable and then it calls an object to do the work.

A note, these are forms that I am trying to integrate from another project and I changed their parent class to :\mmortals\common30\libs\cforms.vcx\cbaseform when I brought them into the MM project. I didn't put a bizness object on them because they have no data. Once I get past the alias already used problem, even in the .exe, the code executes without any problem.
