Try using the device driver for an HP4000T/HP4000 - this should work fine. Alternatively, try downloading the latest driver from HP. I have had problems with the HP4000T, the supplied CD from HP contained bug-ridden drivers which caused major headaches. I downloaded the latest drivers and it works fine.
