ZAP works only with tables, not views. If you use it with a remote view it will try to ZAP the temporary table that VFP created to store your data, it won't go to the server and zap the records.

Regarding the message that you get after DELETE ALL, I agree with Bob. I think there might be something going on in the server. Try to delete your records from the SQL Query Analyzer tool to see if you get an error there. The error message that SQL QA gives you could be more explanatory.
