First what is your SET HOURS setting? Second, what does the code look like when you are populating the field with data? i.e., what does the variable or value that you are trying to populate the field with look like.

If SET('HOURS') = 24 then, you do not provide the AM or PM. Are you sure the value contains a time portion?
