Could you post a code line where you get those error message?
(Just in case, you can use on error routine, or debug the application.)

Thanks! That syntax compiles OK. When executing the program I get and error "...cannot move focus to the control because it's invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept focus." This happens whether or not I have .visible=.T.

I'm in a VFP 6.0 Grid that whose record points to the .doc that I want to run the macro against in M$ Word 2000.

Any more wonderful suggestions that would resolve this? TIA.
