Better modify your SQL query to replace the date with an empty string for the value you do not want.

The Data Report is a piece of ...! My advice is to stick with Crystal Reports (which is still included with VB6 if you look on CD 3) or other reports engine. The Data Report will not be part of VB.Net package!
