>I have been doing some research on Crystal Reports and Adobe Acrobat. I need to generate reports that can be emailed or placed on the network for the end user to view at their convenience. What would you recommend?
To send a report to Acrobat, you have to buy the Acrobat Writer. When you install it, you get a PDF Printer created in printers. When you print a VFP report, you can select that printer and a PDF will be created quite nicely. We do this here and love its simplicity.
I can not speak for what Crystal will do.
You can also get a wrapper class from http://http>west-wind.com for the Acrobat PDF writer. It also requires the purchase of the Acrobat Writer.
