Let me get this right.. You are doing :

Select xxx into cursor x
report form x Preview to Printer prompt

Which does not work...

So you tried

Select xxx into cursor x
browse
report form x Preview to Printer prompt

which works but does not print afterwards?
And now you are

Select xxx into cursor x
Flock()
Unlock
Report form x Preview to Printer prompt

Which does the same...

To be honest I can't see why the flock would help, but it won't hurt.
It sounds like something is messing with your tables either record number or selected table.
Do you have a grid on the form running this report?
Do you have any timer events which could be messing up the currently selected table?

Try putting a couple of fields in the top of the report showing Alias() and recno()

Another thing... Is your name really John Jones? or did you make that up? :-)
