I wouldn't be quite so fast to assume everything was ok if you can browse the memo field:
We got caught with two corruptions last week that often worked just fine, until you weren't looking.

Best to copy the table with it's indexes and FPT somewhere safe and then try to PACK MEMO--if everything is fine, no big deal, but if there is something wrong, that command will show you where a browse won't.
