VFP has the capability to convert existing 2.6 apps, perhaps without a whole lot of work. But you'll be hard pressed to find anybody here that would recommend doing that. Partly because your app will probably run better as it is now than under VFP. But also because you won't be using the newer features that make the product great. Of course, in your case, this is not an option because this won't get you on the web anyway. At the very least, I'd say you'll be rewriting your user interface, but you may be able to carry over a lot of the existing code that deals with business rules and processes.
