Blew (and I do mean "blew" as in a bang and thump so loud we thought something had hit the car) the right rear tire doing 70-75MPH in the middle lane (and no, it wasn't a Firestone it was a Goodyear). Fortunately, my wife is an excellent driver and somehow managed to negotiate the Jeep off onto the shoulder without getting us killed or the car damaged. Unfortunately,
my own shoulder (the left one) is bad, and I've been on medication for it, so I couldn't change it. Fortunately * 2, we had a 24 hour roadside assistance card, and a Butts County Sheriff's Dept. officer was sent and changed it for us. His commander is going to get a very nice letter from us, because he really went above and beyond the call of duty, and I hope he gets some sort of recognition for it.
