Hi!
I know that checkbox do not switch its state when you double click on it. I met this problem when testing checkbox too, just tried to click on it quickly and oops - it does not switch ;)) I solved this by manual code in the DblClick event by switchin state of checkbox manually. Guess you have same problem.
