Yes, it is a bit wierd. You don't actually get Visual Modeller with Visual Studio Pro. but when you register on Microsofts website you can download it from their owners area.

It is a very subjective matter, but I find the Visual Modeller alone is worth the price of the product. To buy the full Rational rose is $2000 U.S. and I would say VM has about half the functionality.
