Here is a tip regarding wasted memory resources. Windows keeps dlls in memory to speed loading a program the second time. You can stop it by using regedit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Explorer. Create a new String Value named AlwaysUnloadDll with a value of 1

I think this made my development system more stable.
