Forms & Form designer
Open the screens and forms just as you would a DBF and see if your code is intact.
Example:
use myform.scx or use myreport.frx
If this works, BROWSE the file, find the Memo field named Methods and see if your code is still there. For a report, use the Memo field named Expr.
If the screens appear intact, try re-installing FoxPro.
Hope this helps,
Mark A.
>I have been working with a relatively large project since some months and is now facing for me a very serious problem, which I do not know how to solve. In the project I have 20 forms included for different tasks and today it became no longer possible to open any of the forms via the project manager/modify or open them by using MODIFY FORM command. The files look the same in respect of file sizes but if you try to open the .sct files with notebook for example, they are all blank, despite the files include many bites when looking at the files by using the windows explorer. Normally you are able to see some definitions and method programs in plain english. Also when I try to open the report files the system do not respond normally. When doing so I got the message box asking me if I would like to convert the files into Visual foxpro 6.0 format. What has happened? Are there methods to solve my problem?
