DBFs, yes, but a CLR language has CLR data access, which some would consider native. And here's a quote from a discussion I had in a private newsgroup about the CLR and code substitution:
"The base class libraries has many classes that you can use to 'build' code at runtime (see the System.CodeDOM and System.CodeDOM.Compiler namespaces), you can also compile & execute code at runtime."
So like I said, I don't think you're right.
