I took my lil' guy to photograph him in front of the rock, and in all honesty, it looked more like a headstone. Waltrip wrecked his car in Sat. practice and no one moved until he got out. The same was true when Jr. wrecked on Sunday.

>My sons and I ran into Mike Skinner and his wife in a small car museum in Aberdeen on Friday. After reading an article on the drivers getting tired of being told to "be safe" instead of "good luck", I just shook his hand, got a pic of the kids with him, and wished him luck on Sunday.....to which both he and his wife (after a big smile came over their faces) simply said "Thanks!"

I'm sure it will be a long time before things seem "normal" again. But the sport will go on and it will be interesting to see which driver best fills Dale's shoes in the eyes of the fans.
