These validations will only appear when you will try to save.

You can however build a builder and apply it to your form. This builder might be responsable to move these validations into the fields controls properties so you can have it at the controls field level.

I am not too familiar about having validation in the DBC. I still continue to use my own DBC because the one in FoxPro is still not a complete DBC.
