Yes, look in MSDN under .NET Beta Documentation->.NET Framework Developer Specifications (not for the faint of heart :-))

I guess the closest thing would be to compare the creation of a text file and compiling it under VFP? I have explored the sample(s) that come with the Beta but they create applications at runtime!
