How could a bear actually sit on the top of a tree to begin with? Wouldn't the branches be really small and weak up there?

>Actually, if g is 9.8 m/sec^2 it takes 3 secs to fall off a 44.1 m tree, so within certain tolerance the tree could be anywhere on earth... except on the poles since no trees grow there.

>The color of the bear? Who knows. If it climbed 44m I guess it's a panda.

>>I don't remember the exact numbers but this question was asked in our highschool physics exam :

>>We were all stumped at first but there was a solution (wish I remembered the numbers right).
>>x=1/2gt^2 and result g was only possible for a polar bear :)
