I use both; with adequate bandwidth and plenty of server capacity, both work; VFP control updates are expensive, so performing Refreshes wrapped in a LockScreen to minimize the rewrites of a form as a bitmap will help with Form performance. Issues revolving around different printer drivers, the location of temp files and related configuration planning do exist; using a separate CONFIG.FPW per user to assign file locations, stripping printer information from reports to allow for different systems using different printers, installing shortcuts to the AllUsers context, and ensuring that everyone sees the app and files using the same file references are definitely important when planning the system. I'd plan to create the install using VSI or another Windows Installer technology product rather than Setup Wizard; VSI 1.1 can be downloaded from msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads and additional information about VSI is available from
www.installsite.com, including some useful MSMs and a pointer to the VFP6/VSI tutorial and VSI downloads.
If VFP6 is being used, you either must use MetaFrame or WTS; the older Citrix product based on WinNT 3.51 will not work right with VFP6. I've had fewest problems using Win2K WTS/MetaFrame; a couple sites had intermittent C..5 errors running under NT/Metaframe that went away when they upgraded to Win2K, I never quite nailed down the issue with the older product.
