Jerry,

I think you're probably right about the registry. I'm running ccMail 6.0, but it was installed originally under Win 3.1 and then the machine was upgraded to Win 95. In VFP 5.0 this problem doesn't occur. The only suggestion that I can make is to either uninstall MS Paint, then re-install it or to hunt down all the references to a paintbrush file in the registry and make the appropriate changes.
