Hi Barbara,
Yes, it was the thermometer that prompted me to click again in the first place. Spoiled with DSL, I was fast to lose patience.
Fortunately I have not had the echo problem. That may be because my volume is low. I'll set it up for a while and see what I get.
Cheers,
JimN
>Hi Jim,
>I've had the same problem occasionally. Since a second click solves the problem I just ignore it :-) It seems to happen for a few minutes and then quit, so it's probably a server overload or a problem with too many activities splitting up the server's time. If you're using IE, check the 'thermometer' at the bottom of the screen. You'll see the form is loading but slowly.

>What REALLY bugs me is that periodically now my mouse clicks are echoed by my speakers. Can't track it to anything I do - it just starts sometime in the middle of a UT session. Only way to STOP it is to exit and log in again.

>Of course the sound is just a TEENY bit offset from the actual mouse click, and, of course, from a different physical direction. Really strange.
