I checked and did not see any versioning info come up for the .exe (except for that which you can type in before doing the build). My guess is that you will have to have the developer supply this. Or, start another thread here with a new title and you might get a response.
We are currently running Novell 4.2 (which I think is just 4.11 patched up to "2"). We have been fairly trouble free for a couple of weeks but I am not going to bet that it will stay that way (we only have 2 users out of 25 testing the app - as we start to roll it out to others, I have this "gut" (but maybe wrong) feeling that the problems will appear again.
I personally would like to stay on the Novell client just to avoid another change to the system. But we'll see.

>Our previous version was using VFP 6 - do not know if it was with any service packs - anyway to tell with only the .exe? And yes Novell client and Novell Netware has been used at our company for ages. I work for SunTrust bank, one of the 10 largest banks in the country and there is 0 chance of us moving to MS Client. The app is on about 20 servers with maybe 80 total clients. So no telling the exact Novell client and Netware versions used for each client. Did notice that the test lab (where the lockups are happening) server uses Netware 5.00i and one of the production servers uses 4.1.1 (where the lockups are not happening).
