When creating a class if you set the initial value of a property to the result of NEWOBJECT or CREATEOBJECT, although the reference will exist you will be unable to access any of the properties or methods that belong to that object. If you examine the object in the debugger you will see that the property indeed holds an object reference and you can see the properties of that object but when you try to access them you will get an unknown member error. Why is this?
