I remember having a similar problem many years ago.
Remembering how I fixed it ....well thats another problem

I think this was due to the key repeat value being to fast. To solve it I may have turned the key repeat rate down in windows.

With me it only happened when the key was held down. The the keyboard somehow confusing the cursor keys with their numeric key pad values.

You may find that just clearing it with on key label just before the problem areas helps. Just in case you have something that is mapping 3 right arrow keys to your up arrow.



>A customer has several DOS 2.5 programs written by me. In 2 of the programs, when he presses the UP ARROW key the field is filled with 666. I have replaced the exe file and the runtimes and the problem persists. In the other programs the UP ARROW key acts normally. Has anyone else experience this and if so is there a cure? Thanks.
