I was a teacher for 18 years... you learn to say things in ways that will be easier to remember.
i.e., when teaching about the 3 Laws of Thermodynamics I used the 3 laws of dating:
1) you can't win
2) you can't even breakeven
3) you can't get out of the game.

You'll never forget that!
