Your server is outside the range of the subdomain; try assigning it an IP address in the 10.0.0.xxx subnet; I tend to make the server 10.0.0.1

If youy have DNS activeated, it can serve as the WINS provider. You can run WINS without providing internal DNS. Make everything a part of the same subnet.
