>>Take it easy, Nadya. We don't need to be indelicate about it. They will come in their own due time without undue pressure from us. The VFP community cannot afford to lose the good will of our most eminent contributors, and they will each have to weigh their personal decisions for themselves.

I don't know how others feel, but I would never sign something that says I might be willing to sign something in the future, especially in an online venue where my name might be abused. When there's a real letter, I'll read it and consider whether I'm willing to put my name to it. Until then, I'll wait. I doubt I'm the only one who feels this one.

I think I've expressed this feeling in other threads, especially the patronizing and innuendo. Stuff like "no VFP'er in his right mind" you know.

FWIW I objected to the letter because it took the attention away from the in/out VS question. Now that this issue is past I'm on the same boat as you, I might consider it when I see it.

Your concerns might as well be founded, one of the possible tactics being discussed is taking the letter to the IT media if no response is shown from MS. I think that's a little extreme and shows no regard for all of those people's good names.
