Sorry for interupt. I did try to set up Win98 machine as DCOM server. However, i still can't get it at thi moment.
I don't have WINNT/Win2000 in my company. Therefore, I am required to use Win98 in this case. Therefore, I face problem to add user into list when I try to configure the security setting. Does DCOM require at least one WinNT/Win2000 machine located in LAN?
Beside, I also tried to use MTS for the same purpose. However, once I use MTS explorer to explore the installed package in my client machine, it cannot access it. What steps should I take? Again, I only installed MTS in the Win98 machine which will be used as DCOM server, and no MTS installed in workstation. IS it the way? Since no MTS in client, how client can access the DLL in server?
