Well, my colleague had this situation once, but we could not reproduce it. Anyway, it might be, that you deleted all records in a table, then tried to append a record. Sometimes VFP throws this error. Try to pack your table and see, if you can reproduce it. I bet, it's a sporadic error, which is most hard to debug...
